Running

Running has been a passion since childhood, giving me easy access to a flowstate and a fun way to see the world. Now, it serves multiple purposes in my life. It's not just physical training for skiing, cycling, and mountaineering; it's also a tool for mental clarity. Running helps me shake off fatigue, bouy my spirits, and allows my subconscious to unravel complex thoughts while I focus on my breathing and the rhythm of my strides. Trail running is my favorite way to get out, especially long 15-20 mile runs in the wilderness. However, most of my runs are closer to home, from quick 3-mile jogs to longer 10-12 mile runs. I keep my routine fresh by alternating between fast runs, leisurely paces, and interval sprints, which I find keeps my body and mind feeling great.
